sweet & sour meatballs

2 lb. ground turkey, beef, chicken or two combined
2 eggs
1/4 cup gluten free bread crumbs
salt and pepper
garlic powder and onion powder to taste
1 tsp. mustard
Sauce:
1 large onion, diced
juice of one lemon
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1-15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 cup hot water

Combine the ground meat with the eggs, crumbs, mustard and seasonings.
Heat oil in a pot and saute the onion until translucent to lightly golden. Add in the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Form meatballs and slowly drop into the sauce. Cook on low for 1 1/2 hours.
